Bacchanal is looking for an energetic and passionate Sous Chef. The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the Chef in planning and directing food preparation which involves a large degree of supervising of other members of the kitchen staff. Additional duties of this position are kitchen management as well as keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and seizing control of a situation at a moment’s notice. The Sous Chef must be inventive and adaptable and inspire the staff members to go above and beyond the expectations of their particular roles.

Although we are a limited service eatery, we take hospitality very seriously and expect our staff to have a genuine love of people and and this industry. This is truly a team environment with no barrier between “Front” and “Back” of the house. Serious passion for wine is ideal as our food is created with an eye for how it will pair with the unique wine we offer.

  • Must be able to work on your feet for long hours, reach, bend & stretch, easily navigate stairs & lift carry up to 50 lbs.



5 Years minimum of fine dining Restaurant Experience with at least 2 years as a Sous Chef or Lead Line.

Culinary School a plus! (However, we do not plate with tweezers)

Proficient in Microsoft Office, (specifically spreadsheets) Google Docs a plus
